A COMPLETE SERVICE IS OUR REASON FOR BEING

Advanced Infrastructure Management (AIM) offers a service to corporate tenants or building owners to manage their entire technology infrastructure - or 'technostructure' .

The modern technologies that businesses need to operate profitably are increasing in complexity. Premises and workspaces have to be carefully selected and designed to optimise space. Workstations need telephone and computer points to access a network. Networks need kilometers of cables and a secure, central computer room with precisely controlled temperature and humidity levels. An uninterruptible power supply is a necessity.

And the business premises need lighting, lifts, security systems and air-conditioning. This together with the dynamic nature of today's business environment demands that your facilities enable and accommodate change without affecting productivity. For technical facilities to run smoothly requires many different contracts with many different contractors.

The cost to you is more than financial. It includes headaches, stress and severe frustration. And the result is expensive downtime, loss of productivity AIM'S holistic approach to facilities management imparts a refreshing alternative work style. This single supplier relationship provides world-class performance accountability and reduces your administrative burden. More importantly, it liberates.

LEADERS IN DESIGN
Large distributed environments (such as banks) require infrastructures that meet and exceed the highest international standards to ensure maximum uptime of every computer room in the organisation.

To this end, AIM has developed an industry standard that defines a number of risk classifications for facilities. These are commensurate with the business risk and are categorised by related levels of facility failure. This standard of operation is a working document at present, and plans are underway for submission to the SABS as a recognised industry standard.

Assessments are undertaken to make recommendations with regard to areas of risk and optimal layouts. Clients can choose the level of risk they are willing to be exposed to in their environment. AIM will then enforce this standard to streamline the running, maintenance and design of all the organisation's facilities.
